♥ SLOW COOKER PARMESAN CRUSTED CHICKEN SUBS ♥

 SLOW COOKER PARMESAN CRUSTED CHICKEN SUBS  .....
This is so good, your family will ask for more!


Ingredients
1-2 lbs. chicken breasts 
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 16 oz. can or jar of tomato sauce
loaves of Italian bread
1 large egg
1/2 cup French Fried Onions
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon basil



1 teaspoon red pepper
1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups bread crumbs


Directions


Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Pour 1/4 can or jar of tomato sauce into slow cooker.

In large baggie, mix together Parmesan Cheese, bread crumbs and all seasonings.

In a medium size bowl, beat large egg.  Dip chicken breast in egg and then drop into bag and shake. Place in slow cooker. Repeat till all chicken breasts are breaded. Scoop mayonnaise and place on top of chicken and spreading it till all chicken is covered. Add any remaining bread crumbs to top and then sprinkle mozzarella cheese covering the breaded chicken breast.  Finally add the remaining sauce. Cover and cook on low heat 4-6 hours or until chicken is white in the middle.

Cut open the Italian bread and toast. Place chicken breast on bread and top with the French Fried Onions....THIS IS AMAZING... The French Fried Onions not only makes it have a little crunch but it gives it a little kick of extra flavor as well.  

This makes 4, 6 inch subs depenting how thick the chicken breasts are.  Mine made 8 subs so I had leftovers for the next night....ENJOY!
