40 Days of Prayer - Day 23

At NorthWest Bible Church, we are doing 40 Days of Prayer. I would like you to join us wherever you live.

40 Days of Prayer - Day 23

NWBC Family and Friends,

Today we are praying for the physical health of our brothers and sisters at NWBC.  Take a moment and thank God for making us the way He made us.  We are spiritual, we are emotional, we are relational and we are physical.  We are called to love God with our whole heart, mind, soul, and all of our strength.  May He strengthen us to accomplish what He desires to do through us.  He certainly is able and willing to give us all we need in body and spirit to live for Him.

Our constant prayer throughout these 40 days is to ask God to touch our hearts, train our hearts, and transform our hearts with the Gospel - God's amazing Story of His redeeming and saving Love.  

Below is our specific request to pray for and a Scripture to pray through.  I’m writing out my prayer as an example of how I’m connecting to God.  Your words and your prayers matter and He can’t wait to hear your voice.

Day 23:  Wednesday, February 26

Pray for physical protection and good health for our leaders and participants.

“Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.”  (3 John 2)

My Pastor Ty's Prayer:  “Our Father in heaven, it is by Your Holy Name that we can be healed, restored and strengthened.  So this morning I ask that you would meet with each of our leaders and all who are participating at NWBC to strengthen them in their bodies, and that You would sustain and heal, strengthen and empower us for the journey we’re on together.  In Jesus’ name,Amen.”

My Prayer: Dear Father God, I pray for the protection and healing of all the leaders, staff, volunteers and people that share and teach Your Word. That You give us strength that no sickness or stronghold will keep us from sharing Jesus to whomever comes in our path. That You shield us from nonbelievers that hate You and believe in satans lies that cause us to be under attack. I pray this in Your Son Jesus name, Amen.

Ryan is our NorthWest Bible Church's Worship Director. My daughter Missy and Ryan were in choir together when they were little. He is amazing...I love his voice and thought you would enjoy his video.
