♥ My Spicy Mayonnaise Meatloaf ♥
I seen on TV mayonnaise being put in a hamburger. It's supposed to make it more juicy. I thought "How would it be in meatloaf"??? Well, I decided to leave some of my same ingredients and also take some out plus now add
mayonnaise to it. As a kid growing up, my mom would let us taste the meat to see if it had enough seasoning. Today we can't do that because we're afraid to get E-coli. Therefore, the tasting is not until it's baked.
Wow!!! This does make it more juicy.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup pico de gio
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon Oregano, Basil, Parsley, Cilantro and Mrs.Dash Garlic & herb
1 tablespoon mustard & sweet relish
1 pouch onion soup mix
1 pouch taco seasoning
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup of shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup of shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 mayonnaise
1/2 Italian Style bread crumbs
1/2 Italian Style bread crumbs
Directions:
Pre-heat oven 350º
Spray loaf pan and set aside.
Meanwhile, in medium mixing bowl stir in all of the above ingredients. Work meat with your hands till all ingredients are blended well.
Shape into a loaf, place loaf in pan.
Bake for 30-40 minutes ...
Serves 8 ... Enjoy!!
If you are making this for another night, placed parchment paper, plastic wrap (push the plastic wrap all around the meat so no air gets in. This will protect it from freezer burn.) and I also wrap foil before placing in freezer. Now you made your own frozen dinner for another night. Just defrost and pop in oven and bake!
