Day 4 - VBS Weird Animals at NorthWest Bible Church in Spring Texas

Day 4 - VBS Weird Animals at NorthWest Bible Church in Spring Texas

Kids have been learning and singing this week how absolutely amazing God’s love is for them… NO MATTER WHAT!

No matter where we live or how different we are God loves us the same.  None of us is perfect, so he forgives our sin, Jesus is our Savior, and His love will never end.

Today was CRAZY SHADES

Kids wore their crazy shades, showing everyone that it's okay to be different.  Being different makes us unique and special and that's a good thing because God made us that way.  If God wanted us to be a carbon copies, He would have made us all the same.

Today the kids will be focusing on not only on the fact that Jesus loves them but also that Jesus forgives them.  We will look at Luke 22:47-24:12  "Jesus dying on the cross next to common criminals.  Jesus Christ, the Son of God dying a slow and torturous death for us.  The criminal beside Him realizing who Jesus really was and that he was no criminal asked Jesus to remember him when he got to his Kingdom.  Jesus gave him hope, telling him "I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise." Jesus extended his love, grace and forgiveness.  Kids are human and although they are not criminals like the man on the cross, they are just like all of us, they have all sinned.  They have used unkind words, been selfish, disobeyed, or not told the truth.  Lets use this day to help them all understand they need Jesus, and his love and forgiveness.  Let them know that Even though you do wrong....Jesus loves you!

"God...loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins." 1 John 4:10

How To Pray for our Children......

Pray that they will desire the right kind of friends and will be protect from the wrong friends.

10 10 My son, if sinful men entice you,
do not give in to them.
11 If they say, “Come along with us;
let’s lie in wait for innocent blood,
let’s ambush some harmless soul;

Proverbs 1:10-11

Pray that they will learn to submit totally to God and resist satin in all circumstances.

 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil,and he will flee from you.  James 4:7
