Let's Make a New Years Resolution And Try "KEEPING IT!!"

Judging Other People

What does the Bible say about judging other people.

I am writing this because even throughout the Christmas season, people are still so mean, hateful and judgmental.  This is the time of year for giving love and Not Hate.  Still you must have noticed, I know I'm not the only one, but if you watch the news, go on Facebook, Tweeter, etc., you see so much hate and judgement on others.  There is Facebook spelling police, judgement on people they thought can't act, who can't sing, on people that voice their opinions because of their religious beliefs and quoting the Bible.
Judgement on Christians, saying we are stupid, that we believe in fiction, God is hateful or that there is no God. Judgement on all races, religions, sexual preference, etc.

I know a lot has to do with the changing times.  Some people think that our Founding Father's and the Constitution is old fashion and out of date.  Then you have most us that defend the Constitution and believe in less government, the 10 Amendments and above all, our FREEDOM.

I feel people are frustrated in what is going on in the world and in this country, that we are losing control, losing our rights as Americans, that we are no longer the "Great Country" that we once were.  "The Country" that our ancestors came here to, "The Freedom and the Land of Opportunity".

I know that there was and always will be hateful and judgmental people in the world; but to the rest of us that feel this frustration, we must stop hurting others.  Whether or not you are a Christian, you are still a human-being with feelings.  You wouldn't want someone to hurt You!!

Now to ALL HUMAN-BEINGS OF ALL RACES, COLORS, RELIGIONS, HOMOSEXUAL OR STRAIGHT....."Let's Stop All The Hate"!!. If you don't like someone, that is your right, but you don't have to cause that person pain.  If you do, they will most likely will return it and on and on it goes.  There is No Winner.

If you are that type of person that wants revenge, you will sitting up at night, full of hate, anger, rage and can't sleep.  You wake up the same the next day and in your now full of frustration and can't think on your job, hating on someone that that has nothing to do with what you are feeling, but they just happened to be the closet to you. Now you have another a enemy.  Again, on and on it goes .  That first person you want to take revenge on, is sleeping like a baby.  My point is you only end up HURTING YOURSELF.

To sum this up, below I have Bible verses about judging other people.  I pray that you take this to heart and read them.  It might even give you a feeling of peace, comfort and joy...Boy, where did I hear that before????

Have a Great, Blessed, Non-Hateful, Non-Judgmental New Year.  Let's Make Non-Hate our New Years Resolution And Try "KEEPING IT!!"

Matthew 7:1-5

Do Not Judge Others

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.
“And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.

Luke 6:37

Do Not Judge Others

37 “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.

James 4:11-12

Warning against Judging Others

11 Don’t speak evil against each other, dear brothers and sisters.[a] If you criticize and judge each other, then you are criticizing and judging God’s law. But your job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to you. 12 God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?

Matthew 7:1

Do Not Judge Others

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.

Romans 2:1-3

God’s Judgment of Sin

You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things.Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things?

John 7:24
24 Look beneath the surface so you can judge correctly.”

Matthew 7:2
For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.

Matthew 7:1-2

Do Not Judge Others

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.

1 Corinthians 2:15
The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one.

John 3:17
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

James 4:11
Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.

Romans 2:3

Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things?
