We went to the orthopedic doctor today and John had x-rays taken. Well, we did get the results showing that he has a torn meniscus. He gave him a cortisone shot and a prescription for therapy which he as to start on Tuesday.
He will be shown what to do and can do it then from home. He wants to see if this will help before doing anything else.
The next doctor he needs to see a neurologist. He set the appointment for Monday since the doctor faxed over the results of the tests.
The last doctor he needs to see is of course the the a urologist since the blood test showed signs of kidney problems. The doctor said it is at the very early stages so hopefully the urologist with tell us more and what needs to be done. As soon as he sets this appointment, I will up-date you.
The doctor doesn't want him to go back to work yet because he wants him to stay off his leg as much as possible so he don't cause further damage. If the cortisone shot and therapy seams to work, then he will go back to work, but if not he will then have to go back to the orthopedic doctor to see what the next step will be.
Well, that's the latest...I will post more as soon as we know more.
