PILLSBURY Grands Homemade Crescent Cheesy Egg & Sausage Stromboli
♥ This is so delicious and you can make this meal for either breakfast or dinner. My family just loves it! ♥
Ingredients
1 lb fully cooked breakfast sausage
1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup onions, diced
1/4 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup whipped cream cheese
2 cans Pillsbury® Grand Crescent Rolls
1/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
6 eggs
1 tablespoon bacon bits
1 tablespoon Mrs Dash, garlic & Herb
1 egg yolk, beaten with 1 tablespoon water
Directions
Heat oven to 375°F.
In 10-inch skillet, mix pork, celery, onions,bell pepper, cream cheese, bacon bits, Mrs Dash and 6 eggs. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring until eggs are fully cooked. Set aside.
Separate dough into 4 rectangles. Onto ungreased cookie sheet (I like putting down on foil), place 2 triangles short ends together, forming a rectangle. Firmly press perforations and center seam to seal. Do this 3 more times making the 4 rectangles.
With 2nd can of Pillsbury® Grand Crescent Rolls, make 4 more rectangles. Set aside.
Spoon pork, egg & cheese mixture lengthwise into 4-inch strip down center of dough to within 1/4 inch of edges. Top with cheese. Take the 2nd batch of rectangles and blanket over fillings. Press rectangles firmly together to form a seal. Brush egg yolk mixture over top of rectangle.
Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cut into slices. Serve warm. Serves 4
