Testimony of God's Work - July 2013

True Testimony of God's Work
(This story took place July 2013)

PRAYER & PRAISE...

After church we stopped at Carrabba's for John's birthday and our anniversary. Praise the Lord for a gift card and a coupon we received. We only had to pay
$3.49.

On our way to Carrabba's, my Jeep's "Check Brake" light came on without any notice. John said he didn't have any trouble stopping, so we just thought it got wet from the rain. After we finished eating and was on our way home, the light

was off and then came on again. The AC stopped working and the temperature reading on the dashboard went to HOT!! John and I prayed all the way home so that we would get there safe. It
was scary since we now started to hear a clicking sound, she was vibrating and we now started to smell rubber. The Good Lord got us home safe, but as we pulled into the driveway and shut her off, there was a big bang and steam coming out from under the hood and under the car. Also water was running out from underneath.

PRAISE THE LORD HE GOT US HOME SAFELY.

Please pray that my Jeep will get fixed and that it will not cost us much. This is the summer, and as I mentioned before, we are just getting one income. We have again been blessed with being able to live comfortably with the grace of his angels He sends us. But we really don't have any extra money for repairs. I will not worry since God is in control. Please pray that He will give us the ability to afford getting her fixed.

PART II

First Praise the Lord we did get home and thank you all for your prayers.

I had her towed this morning and she has a cracked radiator and gasket plus something else. The cost to have her fixed is $1800. Which of course we don’t have. I guess we have to have her junked and we will have to make due with one vehicle for a while. If John’s truck brakes down, he’ll just have to stay home till she is repaired.

Please pray that is truck keep going until we can afford another used car. God Bless you all and thanks for all your prayers. I’m not going to worry, since that’s not going to get me a new car. God is in control and I know he will provide us. God has a plan even if I don’t know what it is yet.

1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Psalm 55:22 Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
