First I must say thank y'all for your prayers for John's cataract surgery.  The surgery went well the doctor said and he has been doing really well this evening. No fever, was able to eat lunch and dinner plus was no problem watching tv.

John got dinner from me, his cool card from Missy and all dad's got some delicious chocolate in a tuxedo box from church.  Missy called at dinner and his mom and sister while I was driving.  I didn't have my bluetooth on so I don't answer the phone. Even if I did, we couldn't change mine to his ear while driving. So we were almost home so we called them back.  I think he had a good Father's Day.

First I just want to thank y’all for your prayers, we really do appreciate it. 

I was declined Social Security Disability because they say John makes too much money….LOL….That’s why I used to work 4 jobs. So going to hope we can hold out till October 28, that’s when I’ll be 62 and then apply for Social Security.

 John and I went today to see “Heaven Is for Real”   at the Cinemark Spring-Klein on Kuykendahl near FM 2920.   I thought the movie was great!  I myself and others in the theater were crying.  The movie will touch your heart.  At the end there was a silence of how it touched everyone there.  Then there was applause. This movie gives you comfort as well.

Well as I mentioned a while back that she had went to rehab after her heart attack and she received 2 stints.  She was there to regain her strength.

PRAISE THE LORD, she sounds great. My sister-in-law, Joanne found her an assistant living appartment only 10 minutes away from where she lives in N.J.  and Joan loves it.  She sounds so happy.  She said she has a nice studio appartment with all the facilities she needs. They help her wash up, dress and she wares one of the emergency necklaces with a button to call for help.  She said the place is so big, she got lost finding her way back to the appartment and she had to press the button.  She said she appoligised for using it just for being lost and they said, "That's what it there for and anytime

Thanks again for your prayers. Joan has been moved to a rehab since she is very week. They don’t want to send her home until she get her strength back. My sister-in-law, Joann has been with her through all this. May God poor his blessing upon her. She has been keeping us updated. She will go back home before the snow hits Sunday evening since she lives in NJ. She will return to NY after the snow is over and the streets are cleared. Just a up-date on John.

First I want to thank you all so very much for all your prayers for John. He is doing much better with his knee also, Praise the Lord. He went to the doctor Friday and got permission to go back to work if he feels he can handle it. Therefore, he is giving it a try this Monday. He is walking with a cane, but hopes in a few weeks he won’t have to.

UP-DATE ON JOHN'S KIDNEY & KNEE

Praise the Lord

John went last Tuesday and brought the days worth of urine to o the nephrology doctor, had the Doppler test and they took more blood. He had to go back today to get the results. Praise the Lord, his kidney is fine. He didn't do anything different other then stopped drinking Coca Cola and is drinking water. Also, he stopped taking Ibuprofen. The first doctor said he had the

beginning of kidney failure and the nephrology doctor said he had stage 3 kidney failure. Well, after those bad reports from two different doctors and finding all this out because of a problem with his knee...I truly believe God was working on a miracle. We are truly blessed. Praise the Lord...Thank You Sweet Jesus.

John’s Kidney & Knee

I have no up-dates as of yet on John’s kidney or knee. He took all the texts the doctors sent him for and now is the waiting for the results.

Praise the Lord, we met all the co-pays, so that is a big blessing. Plus his job has been understanding and is letting him work from home….Thank You Sweet Jesus.

I do ask for pray that the cold fronts are over because my AC/Heater went. I have no heat in my house except for 2 space heaters I had. I tried getting another one, and after going to 4 different stores, all were either sold out or

Up-date on John, Therapy, Kidney Test & A Praise to the Lord

John went to his 1st day of therapy yesterday. He was given instructions on what to do at home. Mostly they are stretching exercises. He has to do them for a couple of weeks twice a day to see if there is any improvement. If not, the doctor will tell him what to do next.


Today was a stay at home day with his exercises but he says that it now hurts more then before.  He has to also collect a days worth of urine to bring to the nephrology doctor

An Up-date on John, Therapy & More on Kidney Test

John went to his 1st day of therapy. He was given instructions on what to do at home.  Mostly they are stretching exercises. He has to do them for a couple of weeks to see if there is any improvement.  If not, the doctor will tell him what to do next. 

It's getting a little tight now with all the co-pays so far and more to come. Today he had to pay almost $300 out of pocket and he's not done.

An Up-date on John

We went to the orthopedic doctor today and John had x-rays taken.  Well, we did get the results showing that he has a torn meniscus.  He gave him a cortisone shot and a prescription for therapy which he as to start on Tuesday.

He will be shown what to do and can do it then from home.  He wants to see if this will help before doing anything else.
